We Honor Our Own

We Honor Our Own 2009

This year the Granite Association for Gifted Children (GAGC) continues a recognition program called WE HONOR OUR OWN. The GAGC Board invites every school in Granite District to nominate an educator, parent, or community member who has made a significant contribution to gifted and talented services at their school.

The Granite Association for Gifted Children (GAGC) is proud to announce the awardees of the Third Annual WE HONOR OUR OWN Award Nominations for 2009. GAGC held the Recognition Awards Ceremony on April 27, 2009, at the Granite Education Center. Congratulations to these special individuals!

Nominate a special person in the Granite School District community

As we approach the 2009-2010 school year, be thinking about teachers, volunteers, and administrators who have made a difference in children’s educational experiences in Granite School District. You can nominate that special person.

Award nomination forms will be sent to all Granite District Principals, Gifted Facilitators, and Parent Liaisons for Gifted & Talented Programs in January. We are offering each school the opportunity to recognize an educator, community member or parent that has made a significant contribution to gifted and talented services at their school.
